The National Association of Stock Car Auto Racing or more commonly known as NASCAR is considered as the most favorite motorsport in the United States. That fact is no surprise especially if you take into account how influential it has become over the public. There’s the NASCAR merchandise wherein different items inspired by the said motorsport or stock car racing event are sold and available for fans to feast on. Few examples are toys, games, apparel, collectibles and DVDs. There are those different racing events throughout the year. There are those NASCAR racing schools that can help turn someone into a successful professional in the racing industry.

But what’s a great sport without some gambling involved? If you are constantly checking the NASCAR race schedule and results and are trying to read and learn several betting tips, then you must be one of the many individuals who are hooked with NASCAR betting. Almost everybody just likes to play all sorts of betting games. Why not? It’s fun. It’s exciting. Plus, you have the chance to win something, whether it’s cash or whatever is involved in your deal.

Making a bet on NASCAR involves these three options: a) betting for a certain driver to win, b) betting for a driver to place in the top three and c) betting on a particular driver to finish ahead of another which is also called match-ups. You can try other betting options but these are the three known ones. So it’s understood that your chances of winning lies on how good of a racer your chosen driver is. The question now is: who’s your bet on NASCAR?

This goes to show that choosing the driver to be your bet on NASCAR is extremely important. You can take your pick from these three great names from the race track:

Jeff Gordon His achievements include being a three-time Daytona 500 winner and a four-time NASCAR Winston Cup (now Sprint Cup) Series champion. It’s also interesting to note that he is the first driver to reach 0 million in winnings for the Cup series in 2009. Gordon was the quickest driver to reach 50 wins as well and he has won a total of 82 career races. He drives the #24 DuPont/Pepsi/United States National Guard Chevrolet Impala.

Jimmie Johnson He currently drives the #48 Lowe’s/Kobalt Tools Chevrolet Impala which is co-owned by Rick Hendrick and his teammate Jeff Gordon and is operated by Hendrick Motorsports. What’s great about this guy is he became the only driver to win four consecutive Sprint Cup Series Championships in 2009. Fellow race car driver Mark Martin even nicknamed him “Superman.”

Kurt Busch This one comes from a family of NASCAR drivers. His father and younger brother are on the same profession as he is. In 2006, when he won in the Nationwide Series, Busch became one of only 18 drivers with a win in all three of NASCAR’s top divisions: Sprint Cup Series, Nationwide Series and Camping World Truck Series.

So who’s your bet on NASCAR? Do you go for the older or the younger ones?
